Self-direction is the ability and learned skill to cast a vision of future goals and then take intentional steps toward who, where, and what we want to be. Instead of focusing on things to control or avoid, we emphasize our responsibility to make positive choices related to our emotions, attitudes, and actions.
Ms. Bell-Damours unexpectedly took on a new position. Although a little unsure at first, she decided to take the leap and be ALL IN. She took this position to a whole new level and created an environment of love, accountability, and learning. This marigold never has to be told what to do to make it happen; it always does it with a smile and a go-getter attitude. Her love for our students is obvious, and she is a true leader who is intentional in everything she does.
