Our February teacher of the month is…Ms. Melendez! 

The word for the month was Kindness.

Kindness is the ability and willingness to express care and compassion for others. Kindness is a choice to use our time, talent, and resources to better the lives of others and the world through genuine acts of love, compassion, generosity, and service.

Mrs. Melendez always shows care and patience with her students. She creates a safe environment where students are allowed to thrive and grow. She never judges others, is gentle with the feelings of others, and is always showing gratefulness Even though she doesn't say much, when she does, it is thoughtful, profound, and encouraging. She has the ability to bring calm to every situation.

The kind-heartedness of Mrs. Melendez does not go unnoticed. Well deserved!
