Huskies in the Know 8/16-8/20 & First Day of School Information

IMPORTANT DATES TO KNOW!


Monday, August 16th-Deadline to register for 12 Week Virtual Option (11:59pm)
Wednesday, August 18th-First Day of School (in person learning)
Wednesday, August 25th-First Day of School (virtual learning)
Wednesday, September 1st-Title I Parent Meeting @6pm (Cafeteria)
Friday, September 3rd/Monday, September 6th-No School


If you still need to complete registration, please visit the school Monday-Friday between 8:00am and 4:00pm

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL INFORMATION: Please read the important procedures.

  • Please remember to use the appropriate grade level lane for drop off and pick up
  • Doors open at 8:00am. The tardy bell rungs at 8:30am. Dismissal is at 4:00pm
  • 5th grade students will enter the through the front of the building under the awning (not the front doors)
  • 6th grade students will enter the building through the farthest door on the left (when facing the building)
  • Please do not drop students off in the back of the building
  • Parents will not be allowed to walk their student into the building (we will take good care of them :-)
  • Students can bring their teacher supplies (if purchased) to their first period teacher
  • Staff will be available throughout the building to help students navigate to their classes
  • Lockers will be assigned to students by their teacher
  • In the morning, students may either eat breakfast in the cafeteria or report to the gym. After this week, the library will be open in the mornings for students from 800am-820am.
  • All students will need to have a book with them to read. The expectation for the mornings no matter where you go is for students to be reading.
  • Breakfast and lunch are free for all students this year
