A special runoff election was scheduled after no candidate took the majority of the votes in the Mansfield ISD school board election on May 1. A majority happens when a candidate receives more than 50 percent of the votes.

The June 5 runoff election is between the top two finishers for Place 2 (Desiree Thomas and Yolanda McPherson) and Place 4 (Keziah Valdes Farrar and Corinne Fiagome). For more information, visit the MISD Board Elections webpage.
