Registration Information: Student participation in summer school programs shall be based on their performance on course and grade level standards, and proficiency on the state mandated STAAR assessment in reading and mathematics for grades 5 and 8.Grades. 5th – 8 th registration will take place at the student’s home campus. If you have questions regarding your student’s attendance in summer school, please contact your student’s campus counselor. Payment for grades 5-8 summer school registration at your student’s home campus or during late registration that will occur on June 7th at the following campuses: Grades 5 – 6 at Della Icenhower Intermediate School.
Student Nutrition: Summer Breakfast and Lunch Mansfield ISD Student Nutrition Services is excited to continue the Summer Feeding program to our great community this year! The Seamless Summer Option allows our district to continue normal breakfast and lunch service for students attending summer school programs and any student 18 years and younger completely free! The nutritious meals for breakfast will include grains, fruit, and milk; and the meals for lunch will include protein, grains, fruit, vegetables, and milk. All children must select a fruit and/or vegetable, and all meals must be consumed onsite. For more information, please contact MISD Student Nutrition Services at 817-299-6040.
Transportation: Transportation will be provided by for students in grades PK-8 who attending summer school programs. In late May, parents and students can find out which bus they will ride by going to www.mansfieldisd.org and clicking on the bus route locator icon. Once you are in the Web Query system, simply type in your street address and select your student’s grade level. Once you have submitted, scroll down and click on the school and your student’s summer school bus stop and bus number will appear. You may also contact Transportation at (817) 299-6060
